Tournament

The 2026 Gorsey Cup seeks to intensify player competition over and above a traditional golf day.

The tournament has a Ryder Cup feel to it meaning every shot by every player matters. Whether you play off a high handicap or a single figure handicap what you do counts.

You will play in a pair against another pair.

All 4 players in the match tee off. Second shots are taken from the best tee shot position for that team

Each player plays his own ball until the hole is completed.

The winner is the team with the lowest score.

On par 3’s, each player plays their own tee shot.

The tee shot variations are designed to maintain competition, reduce time spent looking for balls / keep up the pace of play and reduce the chances of a scoring ‘wipe out’ on any given hole.

Singles Pool. If you don’t have a partner, please contact us and we’ll pair you up with someone.

Scoring – Each match must play all 18 holes even if they can’t win the match.

Full handicaps plus course slope  is permitted.

The winner is the team with the most points

Live on course scoring will be provided by VPAR. To play in this event, you must download the VPAR app and register for the event.
